BRANDING SESSIONS

My Process
1. Initial phone call
This first call is exploratory. I will want to know as much as you can tell me about your brand, who your audience is, how you hope to use the photos, etc. My goal here is to get as clear a picture as is possible… about your brand, your vision and what you want to come away with. This is also a time for you to ask me questions.
2. Vision board
After our initial conversation, we both step away for a few days to create “vision boards”. (Pinterest is a great place to do this.) You pull together a group of images that exemplify your want-list for our session… and I do the same.

3. Shot List
After we’ve shared our ‘vision boards’ with each other, I will schedule a second call. This time we go over each others lists and see what rises to the top. Hopefully, we’ll be pretty close in regard to our ‘vision’ (and if that is not the case, now is the perfect time to know!) What usually happens is that we find aspects of both lists that rise to the top...and we collect the best of those ideas and create a ‘shot list’ of exactly what we want to accomplish during the session.
4. Final Prep
Now it’s time to book a date and put together the details. In our final prep, we will decide on the shoot locations, wardrobe, any props we might need and if you want to book a hair & make-up artist.
Getting on the same page, preparing a shot list and then filling in the details makes for a wonderful day of shooting with a high degree of success!
